Our Free Star Wars Books Database Is Finally Getting New Pages!
Plus, there's new Star Wars out this week that you won't want to miss.
Hello there, fellow Star Wars book lovers!
It’s been a busy week at NTIL HQ! While I’ve been preparing for the launch of Season 5 of the podcast, I’ve also been occupied with our new community member Discord — they really seem to like it so far!
I’ve also been pouring a lot of time into our Star Wars books database, which has been both fun and a lot of work. My dream of eventually having a comprehensive database containing every Star Wars book ever published is still very far off. But little by little, we’re getting closer to making that dream a reality.

New Star Wars Books and Comics Out This Week
As I mentioned last week, Timothy Zahn’s Cloak of Deception and Labyrinth of Evil Legends novels finally got the Essential Legends Collection treatment this week! The new books are out with new covers and the same original stories you love (or are going to fall in love with, if you haven’t read them yet). You can get copies through Amazon, or Bookshop.org if that’s your preference!
In addition to these new editions, Charles Soule’s The Fall of Kylo Ren comic also released its first issue earlier this week! What a fantastic series so far, and what I’m sure will be an epic conclusion to this ongoing Kylo Ren trilogy we’ve been blessed with over the past few years. If you haven’t gotten your hands on the first issue yet, I’d highly recommend it! Especially if you’re already a fan of Soule’s Star Wars and other comics.
Now This Is Lit Season 5 Drops This Tuesday!
It’s official! Now This Is Lit Season 5 drops its first episode NEXT week, on August 18.
You all have a lot to look forward to this season! In addition to interviews I’ve already recorded with Madeleine Roux and Ashley Poston (plus audio versions of my reviews for both of their respective books), you’ll also get to hear my first-ever conversation with author Rebecca Roanhorse coinciding with the release of Reign of the Empire: Edge of The Abyss.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but I’m also hoping to be able to share future interviews with Kiersten White (Hiding from the Dark) and Chris Kempshall (Star Wars: Star Pilots).
In terms of scheduling, we’re sticking to releasing new episodes every other week this season, with some exceptions likely around our usual end-of-year episodes. This might mean that some book reviews and interviews will come out after their respective releases, but this is what’s going to be best for the quality of the show and for me in the near future.
I can’t wait to finally bring new episodes of the show to you after all these months! Make sure you’re subscribed on your podcatchers of choice so you don’t miss the Season 5 premiere.
Book Database Update: New Pages Are LIVE!
It’s been a minute since we’ve been able to push new book pages live on Star Wars Books Info. We’ve been working hard behind-the-screens to gather all the data we need to make the publishing process go a little bit faster in the future. But I’m so happy to be able to share new pages with you this week!
