The same way Star Wars is always growing, so too must the show I’ve poured my blood, sweat, and tears into for nearly two years now.
I LOVE making Now This Is Lit. I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t love it. I want as many people to have access to it as possible. And for those supporting the show financially, I want to provide a little bit more.
Here’s what’s going on with the podcast, plus a quick overview of all the Star Wars books and comics releasing in June 2024.
Now This Is Lit Is Now On YouTube
While the podcast won’t be pivoting to video anytime soon, those who prefer consuming audio shows on YouTube can now start doing so with Now This Is Lit.
The show trailer (Episode 0) is up on the channel now, and “new” episodes will be uploaded in release order, twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday) until it catches up to the current release schedule.
Nothing else is changing about the show — yet! But this is a great opportunity to start listening from the very beginning. You can “watch” the trailer below.

Introducing THE ACO-LIT SHOW
Starting next week, $1 subscribers to the Now This Is Lit Patreon will have access to our first limited exclusive series, THE ACO-LIT SHOW. This The Acolyte after-show, hosted by me and my producer, will premiere the weekend following each new episode (or batch of episodes) of The Acolyte.
This is the first show we’re trying where we’re not limiting ourselves to talking about books (though they will no doubt come up, since this is The High Republic era). We’ll discuss our thoughts on the show, predict what might happen next, and, as usual, probably go on a few tangents.
The good news is, if you like this mini-series, we might just do more for future Disney+ Star Wars show releases. Or even rewatch shows of past series, if you’re into that sort of thing.
I know money is tight for a lot of people right now (myself included). So if you can’t give $1, even spreading the word about this new show is more than enough support, and I genuinely appreciate it.
Now This Is Lit is a podcast (and newsletter!) about Star Wars books, the people who make them, and the readers who just can’t get enough of them. You can find the show wherever you get your podcasts, and subscribe to the Substack for more deep dives, guides, interview transcripts, and book love.
